I make these for Moose and Sophie (had made them for Honey) and they LOVE them

PUMPKIN TREATS

1 can solid packed pumpkin
3/4 cup cry cream of rice or cream of wheat
1/2 cup dry powdered milk.

Mix well.  Either spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray (Pam, etc) or line with parchment paper.  I prefer the paper--no cookie tray to hae to really wash up.

Drop mixture by spoon (I use a tablespoon) onto the tray and bake for about 25 minutes at 300.  I use a heavy duty commercial cookie sheet and bake mine for about 30 minutes.  Cool and then put in air tight container and store in fridge.  They are a little chewy/rubbery.  I have posted this recipe on the pyr forum and golden retriever and several have tried it and said their dogs love the treats.

This is a recipe I would have to try in the winter. It's getting really hot here and I don't like using the oven.
