This si something else I make for the dogs that they love.

TURKEY STEW

2- 2 1/2 or even 3 pounds lean ground turkey
2-3 sweet potatoes, depending on size (I prefer 3 smaller ones as they are easier to
       cut) cut into chunks
2 apples  cut into chunks
1 bag frozen green beans

Break meat apart, place all ingredients into large dutch over, cover with water, bring to boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer until meat is cooked, veggies soft.  Cool and place in containers and place in freezer.  I freeze in 2 cup containers and with giving each dog 1/3 cup a day, each container lasts 3 days.    They get the stew 3 days, then a can of tuna, stew 3 days, then can of tuna.  I do put fish ol caps in their food on days they do not get tuna--3 in his, 2 in hers.

Also, I sometimes add yellow squash or zucchini squash.  Occasionally I have used bag of frozen peas and carrots rather than green beans.  Couple of times I have used frozen spinach.  They like it all.  they get the dry kibble for breakfast, and then get the little bit of stew or tuna added at supper.

It sounds like a really delicious recipe and easy to make. And it's grain free.
