Well, I feel like this has been a long time in coming... And I've been out of the loop for so long that it's news to me!

I registered Erie with the AKC and received his packet; sure seems like they have a lot of new programs going on that didn't exist when I was showing with my grandma and her friends' dogs. Some of them just seem like money, but, hey, it opens up a lot of opportunities for a lot of people and their dogs that didn't exist before.

And what's this about AKC offering a Therapy Dog title...?

Seems like it doesn't really do much for the dog and handler other than offer whatever clout the name of a well-known organization to a somewhat lesser known class of volunteers. But I digress...
