He loves everyone and everything, he was my best friend. I have pictures of him. Please dont change his name please!! If I could have him back I would! He loves milk-bones they are his favorite, and hamburgers with cheese he would always try to eat mine. He so loving he loves to cuddle and give kisses if you ask for one he will give you one. also he shakes hands if you ask him right hand he will give you his right if you ask left he will give you his left. When I had him in my care he was almost 150 an healthy he never went with out. Aww that poor girl!

Don't know how 2 males would be.. but others have done same sex dogs and haven't had a problem. I guess it all depends on the dogs!

Have you heard anything more about the girl you were looking at?

The home inspection is today between 2 and 3!

I figured if when we take Duke to the facility to meet her, if she didn't like Duke, then Gunnar would be an alternative!

Duke's favorite playmate at the dog park is this boy Chester!

Well I have no doubt you will be approved. It should just be a question of Gunnar and Duke getting along. Fingers crossed. He needs a good home like yours.

Hi guys!  rotfl   Sorry, I'm watching a clients three dogs and it's a little hectic.

I have a female German Shepard pup here, that Duke plays with all the time at the dog park.  He is growling at her, so I think I have to bring her back home.

So anyway, the girl who came was so sweet!  She said that our house is the enironment she wishes she sees all the time.

She said she's been in some really bad ones, that she's had to turn down.

So I spoke to the woman in charge and we're going to meet Mia on Tuesday.  She was trying to talk me out of Gunnar, due to Duke being a male and Gunnar being a male.

Meanwhile, he is growling so much at this GSD!  I'm going to have to bring her back!

I don't put much stock at all in the male\male versus male\female. Its all more about each individual dog especially when they are all fixed.  Can't wait to hear how it goes!

Two beautiful dogs. I'm sure karma will work itself so that you're paired with the right dog. Odd that Duke is growling at that female puppy.

I bet it's hard bringing all the different dogs in your home.  I hope Duke gets more used to it!
Good luck Tuesday.. Whatever happens will be for the best!

Thank you guys!   big hug

The last dog I brought home was Bart, the 12 yr old Pom.  They cared less.

Otherwise, I go to the clients' homes and walk them and leave them at home.  I just figured since Duke played with her at the dog park, she would be ok here!
NOT!  Just brought her home.

Duke, Cana and Bart!

My client just told me that he weighs 2 1/2 lbs and the vet told him to fattern him up a little.

He free feeds him, so I don't know how much he eats at home.  When I was watching him the second time, he actually ate more than I thought he would.

The first time I watched him, he didn't eat much at all.

Duke could be reacting that way because of just losing Cana?
Or..  Is she spayed? Maybe sending off scents that she is about to go into heat?
Or.. Like .... It's fun to play and go out with some people, but ya don't want them in your house!  huh?

That is a really nice picture!

Molly can tolerate older dogs more than puppies.  She hates that puppies jump in her face.  Could that be it with Duke?  At first i thought it was jealousy until i watched how Molly reacted.  She was fine until puppies jump in her face, then she barks at them a reprimand.

I had no doubts about your home visit.  Love the picture of the 3 pups!

She is spayed...but very hyper!  This dog needs training really badly!

I think you're right Terri, about "I'll play with you at the park, but not in my house"

Yeah, Jan, it could be because she was so all over the place.
I've never heard the kind of growl Duke gave her, till last night.

Thank you guys, for liking my picture.   big hug

Eric would rather have a younger dog.  The male Rottie is 5.  Cana was 8 1/2.
It's just that after writing back and forth with the owner, I feel drawn to him.  Eric says "AJ, you're drawn to every dog you see"  rotfl

I wish we could get both.

rotfl  We can't go see the little girl till Tuesday.  E is away, so I have to drive down to Miami.  thud

We then leave Thursday for VA till the following Tuesday.  Then E is off the rest of that week.

The boy is in New Port Richie, which is near Tampa.  That's about a 4 hr drive.

I guess we'll start with the girl and see where it goes!

I have 11 dogs... 3 females, 8 males, It's all in how the particular dogs get along.

Oh and also, I recommend getting both. And thats my "expert opinion"!  rotfl
