« on: January 10, 2012, 07:54:46 PM »

Anyone remember me and Daisy? I know it's been a long time. I found an article on "Frito Feet" today and it got me thinking back to my DA days. How's everybody doing?

I saw the photos of Suzie. She's adorable!

Daisy has been diagnosed with lymphoma, which breaks my heart. The last time I had her blood checked her lyphocyte count was rediculously high - 130,000 compared to a normal count of 17,000. They say that equates to a stage 5 condition, whch means the disease is in her bones. I've almost lost her twice, but she keeps boucng back. You can tell she is not herself but she is still happy, friendly and sweet. We are taking it one day at a time and trying to enjoy every moment.

Miss seeing you around here Trisha.  I am so sorry about Daisy.  I remember when you got her.  Every day is a gift.

Molly is 9 yrs old now and still doing good.  Hope to continue to see you here.

You can never replace the dog that you lost in your heart~ you can only make your heart a little bit bigger to include a new one.

Thanks for all your good wishes for Daisy.
It's great to see some familiar "faces."
