I wish I could help ease your pain and sorrow. Missing Minnie is quite normal. Give yourself time to grieve and heal. All of us are here to help you any way we can.

I'm so sorry Terri and I understand that so much...I was so miserable loosing Bubby that I had to find another dog to help take away some of the pain. It truly helped! While I still miss my "heart girl" a lot.... Gibby has helped fill a piece of that empty hole in my heart. I so understand what you are going thru and I am so sorry!

I was just telling someone yesterday I haven't done anything with Max's ashes because I feel like it would make things so "final" and its been over 2 years now.

Funny ( no, not really funny ) you should say that Kim. I brought Bubbys ashes home to bury them by my house. I live in a cluster home so only have a VERY small area and the only good place is sooooo hard... and of course she died when it was still cold so I put her next to my Entertainment CTR until I could bury her. Well..time went on............. I can't do it. She is here in my house in a corner....I feel she must stay there now. No tribute, not on a mantle...just that will be her final resting place..... in my house. I think I feel good about her being there.

I still have Lucy and Thunder's ashes on my ET ctr. I have Xena's collar there too, so it is like a little memorial to me. I have no intentions of burying them right now. I did have dogs from earlier in my life all buried together when my dog Whiskey died. I do not think it is any such time we have to do anything, we can do it as we feel it is right.

On coming back with sad news after a long, long time away I wanted to check on Minnie first, I am so very sad to read that your beautiful girl is no longer with us. Sending big {{hugs}} and much love across the miles for you both.

I even get mixed up on the date my mom passed. I just know she is gone. I am not very good on remembering dates at all. They all run together. Still miss Minnie even a year later.

August 11, 2001 we brought Minnie home to us. Dave went from Sturtevant, WI to St Paul, MN to get her. (10 hr trip there and back) Was a a wonderful day for all of us. She made our home complete again.
