I hope she keeps up wanting to nurse. Trying to hand feet a brood that large would too exhausting for me. How is she doing on wanting to keep them clean? Just as noncooperative I would assume. Your pic of Pez and the little Dane pup is a good example of how all puppies look a like at first. If not for the side-by-side size comparison, I doubt the average person would have seen a difference. Just little pup chubs. I take it Pez is on his way to another home. I'm sure he will regret not getting to stay at Aunt Hill's house.

Kind of reminds me of Bubblegum in a way. When she had 18 puppies on November before I got her...( one died) she got mastitis a couple of days later and was not allowed to feed her pups...so they paid a lot of money to get someone in to feed them every day..... can you imagine? Now Gibbys mom must not have been that great with her pups either....... his breeder said she was more interested in getting into the cat litterbox that was down in the basment where the big puppy area was. I don't think she took care of her pups hardly at all...and didn't teach them a darn thing!! Giovanna very much reminds me of Ollie!

Thanks for the update! Wow...the pic with Pez really puts things into perspective. I know you are worn out. I can't imagine trying to see that that many pups get fed and cleaned and taken care of along with everything else you do.

I'm glad she's more willing to nurse now. That would be a lot of work to hand-feed 14 puppies. Yikes. Wow, what a difference in size between puggle and great dane puppies!

Love the puppy mushies pic. So glad they are eating some mush so you do not have to be up all night with feedings.

We are taking apps... One is already spoken for!! The rescue directors son (26 yrs old and married) and his wife wanted one... There is one in particular that is soooooo sweet... Like I am head over heels in love with him ...They have decided to take him!! I will get to watch him grow up and see him on holidays and trips up to Austin!!!! I have colored bands around their necks, and at this point I know who they all are by a glance! It's probably kind of weird to say but each one of their little faces is BURNED into my brain!!! They are getting personalities and starting to really play and interact so that made it easier!! They are such a mess!! But so much fun! I need to post a picture of my laundry room BEFORE I clean it and put it back to rights... Anyone remember the pic of when the goats stayed in the bathroom!? This is soooo much worse!!

I love those pics. They are great. And the face to face pic is a great one. Way too cute. I love the laundry baskets too. PS I just showed DH the pics and the first words from his mouth are "Which one do we get?" He has not said much more since I shut him up. We will see when he is concious again.
