Day two... Still doing well! The adopters report his real temperament is ALREADY coming out... I'm glad because it took me so long to get a good grasp of his temperament the fact that he is well adjusted enough to trust someone else so readily makes me tear up a little I'm so proud of him!
Looks like this is going to be the final stop for baby Kramer!!!  chbuds

Great news for Kramer.  That is awesome.  He must have used his great big dane charm on his new parents and stole their hearts.

Yeah, who is the new one, do I look for another thread?

That whole bite thing....people will tell you anything. I was at a vet's on Saturday, he has two dogs that a client asked him to euth because they snapped at the grandchildren. He didn't do it; he has neutered both dogs, done intensive training, and is trying to re-home them. The whole time we're having this conversation, he is scattering kibble at the feet of these two dogs for my newest litter to nibble on. The adult boys are totally ignoring them.

Why are people so mean to their dogs????

Hope Kramer's new home continues to be perfect for him!

I swear MM... People say that because they think that is the one thing they can say to absolve themselves of their responsibility... They can say to a lay person "He bit me" and that person instantly feels bad for them and agrees with the decision... they say it to a dog person and I personally just think... "What did you do?"  huh?
Kramers dad reports he is hilarious! He figured out their bell system very quickly (We also use bells) and has only had one accident! He hasn't destroyed one item of clothing or paper yet!!  Happy Yell And he is even helping their other dog come out of his shell!! Everyone all around seems satisfied!  chbuds

celebratestars for Kramer and his new family.

On the bite thing... Spip nipped the fingers of one of the newbie techs or assistants at the vet last time when they tried to give her a treat so they could weigh her. Spip knows how to take treats gently but swinging them above her head while says "sit, sit, sit" in a squeaky voice when she is in an aroused state is not conducive to gentlessness. Yes, the girl felt her teeth on the tips of her fingers... some people would say she "bit" because they define all teeth contact as a bite but goodness, looking at her teeth and jaw, I would say that if she really bit you'd have some broken fingers at least !
