Out of curiosity I bought a tube of Bravo pre-made raw. I opened the tube tonight to feed the Cairnadoes and was aghast at the consistency of it. It was like toothpaste. What is it with pre-made raw food being a gooey paste? How can that be satisfying for a dog to eat? I didn't bother to warm it up a bit because I knew it would be even gooier than it already was. It also claims to be balanced and complete while the web site says to add supplements.....but offers no recommendations.

Good grief. I need to start making my own raw food for sale. At least mine is thick and hearty.  Roll Eyes

Bravo is a copycat of Oma's Pride, and they share a similar consistency. If you heat OP, first it actually sort of melts into a thick, chunky, stew before it starts cooking.

My husband knows to ask before he sticks a spoon in anything he finds in the fridge.

Don't know about a meal but the texture looks perfect to stuff a Kong.

It would make a great Kong stuffer.

I heat mine up just below room temp so it's not so cold.  Not only is this stuff really gooey, the poops are horrendously smelly. I mean foul like death. The poops are huge too.

That would support some of what I've heard about them.

I fed them the last of it last night. They gobbled it down. And when I came home at break to let them out, my living room had runny poop bombs all over the place.  Sad Tonight they are eating their usual homemade food.

Ooops, I'll pass even for Kong stuffing then. More poop, stinkier poop and runny poop ... bleh.

I think we'll stay away from it, too.  Don't want Jasmine having runny poops.
