WOW!  I am glad I do not have a green thumb.  I watched the video of the 17 poisonous plants too.  We use to have oleanders in my yard when I was growing up.  I knew they were poisonous.  We did not ever have a problem with our dogs getting into them.  My childhood dog ate some leaves one time, threw up a bunch and did not ever try them again.  He was just a dog that had to try everything before learning.  He lived into old age despite his tendencies.

I have a few mentioned in the video.  Good thing my dogs aren't around the plants unsupervised...Joey and Allie I wouldn't worry about, but Izzie still being a pup concerns me. Most of my plants are outside, I do have a Peace Lily inside...but it is up to high for any of the dogs to get at.  Izzie also stays in a playpen when we aren't home.

One of the worst is the sago palm. Ingestion of one seed can kill a dog. The scary part is that often these are sold at home improvement stores without a definitive label, they're just called an "exotic plant" or something.
