How darn cute. I love the pic with her big grin on her face. Is Scout in a command stay to be by her, or is he there on his own?

She's sitting up like a big girl!! You should try propping her up in between Scout's legs when he's sitting like that!

What a precious face. She seems to love the camera. Scout is looking very serious in his supervisory role. Great pics.

Well, he is much bigger this year than he was last year. I put his chillydog coat on that I got him last year and he totally fills it out. He's not allowed to get any bigger or he won't be able to wear it. He's got his vet checkup in January, we'll see how much he weighs now. I won't be surprised if he's at least 80 pounds. He really filled out this last year. And well, we all know Meri is just a petite little thing. I've been weighing her daily to track her weight gains and she's up 4.5 ounces in a week. Her weight is 9 lbs 15.5 ounces(she really just does not want to tip the scales over 10 pounds...stubborn little girl). But her gain is good. The doctor wanted to see her gain .5 ounces a day and she's doing .65 ounces a day. Hopefully the holidays won't mess too much with her gaining...

I think she will do well. Two of my nieces are small for their age and so is my oldest. They here from their doctors to make sure the gain weight, do this do that, etc. I find as long as the child is gaining at a consistent rate, not losing than so be it. My 5 yr old niece is the smallest in her class, she is now 28 lbs. She was born I think 2 mos early, she has always been tiny and so is her mom. Her mom looks great now. Both my tiny nieces are very healthy. My other grand niece is a BIG chunk. I have no idea how my niece, (her mom) can hold her without her arms dragging the floor. I was glad to have one very tiny baby and one avg size. Meri looks so happy and healthy, I would be the proudest mom on earth.

I'm so glad to hear she's gaining weight! Have you had to supplement yet? I know you didn't want to have to do that.

No supplements other than whatever extra I can pump during the day. She gets that in a bottle right before bedtime. Tomorrow morning will be her 2 week weigh-in.

She's up 4 ounces this week. I think that's pretty amazing given our travels this weekend. She's now 10lbs 3.5 ounces!
