After hours of finally updating my photography website I think it looks pretty good. Can I get some feedback on it? Can you also please sign the guestbook? Thanks!! http://www.freewebs.com/luvofalldogs/

Great pics!!! If you are worried about people stealing the pictures, I know there is a way for you to disable people that visit the site from right clicking and saving them. I don't know how, just know it can be done from trying on other sites. Maybe look into that, perhaps a comp savvy friend can figure it out. Doesn't gaurentee anything but makes it just a bit more difficult for most people to copy. Just thought I would share!

Hi Alyssa. Terrific site and awesome pics, well done! As a publisher of a lifestyles magazine I am familiar with photographic copyright. It is good that you have your name across the bottom of your pictures........ but I noticed some were missing it, and if you really want to be sure someone will contact you for permission to print / use your materials, you should put your name as a large watermark right across the centre of every pic. Where the name is now someone could easily crop it out. I would also suggest making them as low res on your site as possible, then if someone wants to use an image, they need to contact you for a high res image with no watermark across it.
Good luck to you and keep up the great work! I may contact you some time to use an image!
Susan

I just thought of something else.... there are two sites I buy images from alot for the magazine. I will post the addresses, maybe you can get some ideas from them as well for your site. www.dreamstime.comwww.123rf.comthese two work on a credit system... you purchase credits, then when you want to download a pic it costs 2 or 3 or however many credits from your account. www.istockphoto.com is also a great site, but the pics are much pricier, not sure if they use credits, I dont think so. Wow, thank you guys for all the great comments!!
Normally, I wouldn't be afraid of someone stealing my images. But it did happen before and the person entered a contest with my photo. I contacted the website and they took it down right away. SO now I am very overprotective of my work.
Thanks for the tips Jazzmyn and Carole! I really appreciate it. I will definately look into doing that to my photos!
