rotflmao  I've done all that with Cana!

I knew the left foot always starts off, etc.  She still pulls!

She has a gentle leader on her face!  She still pulls.

well, i kinda been taking her out at night more instead of in the day when people can see me  blush
when she pulls, i make her her start over.... makes for a long walk, but after 15 minutes she gives in LOL
i dont expect perfection from her.... I'd just like to keep my arm Cheesy

i believe it when he demos a shiba.  Grin

When my guys pull, i just start walking the opposite direction or I'll just sit until they come back to me, then we dont move until i'm good and ready.  Tsuki caught on this real quick.  Corgi is another story.  He will stay at the end of his leash for a good 15 min before he comes back to me.

Usually walking the opposite direction works better, especially walking 2 dogs.

I tried all that you guys mentioned~ i tried classes also.  She still pulled.

Now she wears the easy walk harness ~ probably for the rest of her life.   Grin

I have 30 days to get my rat terrier to heel and then sit when we stop. I'll have to try some of his tips.

Thanks,

Jasmine knows the "sit when we stop" thing.  She still pulls.  I never understand how you are supposed to keep a loose leash, when the DOG is pulling.  She wants to get to Sheeba's house, to see if she is outside and there is nothing I seem to be able to do about it.  Once we pass Sheeba's house, she is fine!  LOL!  (Sheeba is a basenji/poss cattledog or Aussie mix).  I'm not even sure how to spell her name.  That is pretty much a phonetical spelling.

I think its a good demonstration of loose leash walking,b ut not really a heel.

He doesn't really explain how to teach, just simply how to do turns.  He never goes into detail about what one shoudl do when they've got a dog that is a bad puller. I do like that he recoommends turns, but he did a poor job of using those turns to demonstrate how it teaches a dog to better pay attention.

Don't mind me.. jsut another trainer here and a critic. :p
